Contribute a photo

Many watches in our database are missing real owner photographs. If you own one of these watches, your photo helps other buyers make better decisions.

What we accept

✓ Acceptable photos
  • Original photos you personally took of a watch you own
  • Clear, well-lit images showing the dial and/or case
  • Multiple angles are welcome (dial, case side, case back, bracelet)
  • Photos taken with any camera or smartphone
✗ Not accepted
  • Screenshots from websites, eBay, Chrono24, or any marketplace
  • Photos copied from Google Images or any web search
  • Manufacturer press images you do not own rights to
  • Photos taken by someone else without their explicit permission
  • Images where any personal data is visible (faces, documents, addresses)

Please hide serial numbers if visible before uploading. Serial numbers on watch case backs can be used to track stolen timepieces. Crop or cover them before submitting.

How it works

Find the watch
Browse to the watch page in our database and scroll to the community photo section.

Submit your photo
Upload your image (or provide a hosted URL), fill in your credit details, and confirm the consent checkboxes.

Editorial review
Our team reviews each submission for quality and authenticity before it appears publicly.

Attribution
Approved photos are displayed with your credit name on the watch page.

Your rights

When you submit a photo to WatchIntel:

  • —You retain full ownership of your photograph.
  • —WatchIntel receives a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the photo on WatchIntel pages, editorial content, and promotional materials.
  • —WatchIntel may crop, resize, or adjust the photo for presentation without altering its essential character.
  • —You can request removal of your photo at any time.
  • —WatchIntel may use the photo commercially (e.g. in marketing material about WatchIntel).

Requirements

Only submit photos you own the rights to.

  • —Do not submit photos from manufacturer websites, press kits, or other websites without permission.
  • —Do not submit watermarked photos from dealers or auction houses.
  • —Photos must show the actual watch, not a render or illustration.
  • —Reasonable image quality — at least 800px on the shorter dimension.

Consent statement

I confirm that I took this photo myself or I own the rights to it. I grant WatchIntel a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual license to use, display, crop, resize, edit for presentation, publish and promote this photo on WatchIntel, including watch pages, editorial content, social media and marketing materials. I understand that I remain the owner of the photo, but WatchIntel may use it commercially. I confirm that this photo does not infringe someone else's copyright, privacy rights or other rights.
